I don't much remember the beginning, or being a child, or really anything about the younger days of my life. I only remember the hatred. Everyone, not including those like me and the oddball here and there, didn't like me. But they never gave me a chance. They didn't even wait to see who I was.

Being a demon isn't easy, especially when all you want is peace and a friend. But no. Because of who I am, I can never be anything else. I can never be Dmitri, only Dmitri the Demon.
