Headlights shown bright down that twisty, curvy road. Two people in the cab, two top racehorses in the trailer. The landscaping was normal for the Kentucky terrain. It was around 4 am in the morning, when suddenly...
A sleepy voice answered the phone, "Hello?"
"Mr. Kirk Clarkson, this is the police station. We are calling to inform you and your sister that your parents have been pronounced dead in a car accident."
The phone dropped to the floor as the 19 year old tried to take in the horrible news as reality.
Set in a rural area in Kentucky by the mountains, one of the greatest thoroughbred racing farm's, had to be sold. The two young siblings didn't have the knowledge to keep the place running, and college was their future plans. But the state government saw money in the place, and made the Clarksons a deal. The Blue Ridge Ranch would be turned into one of the most elite academy's in the USA, maybe even the world, and they could run the property.
With the simple click of a pen, the deal was done. The Clarkson's were now running, what is now known as Blue Ridge Academy. Kirk Clarkson graduated out of college as a Veterinarian for the school, his sister finished high school, and is now nineteen, taking college classes at the academy itself.
