THE GOODBYE WAVES - - old love

Keto needs to have an old, human lover who managed to turn him into a full blown human hater. Here’s the idea for her and let’s give her a temporary name and call her Faylnn. Faylnn was a pretty little maid living in a kingdom by the sea working as a maid to the queen. Now Faylnn was not a fan of being a maid and wanted much more than what this life had to offer for her since she was growing rather tired of cleaning and taking care of dressing up an old woman every day. She craved to have power as those above her did so that one day she too could live in such luxury. Of course, a time like that would never come if she never did take any kind of action. So she began to put a plan into action, finding others who had grudges against their ruler and made a plan to bring the queen to her death. Faylnn would be the one to kill her: death by poisoning. She followed through with the plan and succeeded. As the queen had no sons or daughters and Faylnn had been her most trusted person, Faylnn rose in power eventually taking the place as a queen. Many found it strange and demanded that she be put to death for killing the queen. Even those who had been with her were suddenly against her. But Faylnn would not give up her power so easily. She went a witch, one of the most powerful known in Reena, and she threw herself at the woman’s feet begging for answers. The witch did eventually help Faylnn and came back with her to pose as an advisor to the kingdom. Her powers kept the queen safe but the witch also had to be granted treasures and finances to aid her studies in dark magic. When the treasury was emptying though Faylnn had to stop her end of the bargain and after a horrid fight between the older woman and herself the witch cast a spell on Faylnn and her land. The kingdom was turned to ruble and the castle was left in ruins while Faylnn was given the gift of immortality and was left to rule over an empty kingdom for the rest of her life. For if she left it for a long period of time her skin would turn to wrinkles and her form would become that of a hideous woman.

Now where Keto comes in. The only thing to lift the spell would be to sacrifice her selfish ways and learn of a true love. In attempts to find this true love Faylnn traveled to the docks of her destroyed kingdom and spied a merman. Well considering she could never leave he often popped in and out to give her some company (whether it was nice or not) and they eventually gained a fondness of one another. She more so than Keto. When the merman dared to come on land their relationship grew. He would often stay with her for a while and eventually was introduced to her curse. The merman promised to help break it and sacrificed much of his time to be with the woman he was sure he was falling in love with. But there was also another person who happened to be pulling at his heartstrings. He let the fantasy carry on though, imagining that there was an escape from his violent life under the water. The charade had to come to an end though. After a very rough argument between the pair and Keto confessing his mixed feelings to her he left the cursed queen to live alone in her grief and anger.

Now she hunts for acceptance and love of another man while trying to remove the heart of the Keto, the man who had stolen her own heart. And she means to remove it quite literally.

That’s the idea. That’s the girl. And the woman in the picture is Yana Karpova. She kind of showed what I was imagining she'd look like but that pb is not set in stone. Feel free to.. you know, be free. Any takers?!
