The name’s Kauris. If you haven’t figured it out already I am a werewolf. I try my best to be good-natured around others, but I’ve been told that my aggressive dominant side deters such an attempt to be socially tolerable. Too bad, but I don’t give a damn about what others think.

I was born in the Libitina region of Reena where I was raised to hunt and kill. You could say that I am nearly as bloodthirsty as a vampire. I refuse to hunt anything that can reason, though. No need to make unnecessary rivalries, right? I will not risk the safety of my people.

As a pup I spent most of my time running off and exploring. I’ll admit that I had gotten into handfuls of trouble, but each of those experiences had taught me a lot about this world and about how to survive in it.

Personality-wise, I tend to be more endurable when I am around those I care for deeply. Take my mother, for example. I get picked on still about how my high-and-mighty side completely diminishes when I am around her or anyone else I take a deep liking to. Don’t mistake it for being submissive. I won’t let you get away with that. Count on it.

I basically live an average life for a wolf. Hunt down my prey, return with the kill, and then join the festivities the last all night until Father Sun chases Mother Moon from the skies. I suppose you could say my pack tends to be more nocturnal.

The culture of my pack is displayed in numerous ways. We dance, we sing, we have social-gatherings, and hold competitions of wits and strength; we create art varying from pottery to jewelry. I feel very compassionate and dedicated to my people and our culture. Should you or anyone try to afflict harm upon either, consider yourself dead.

After living most of my life in Libitina I decided that I wanted more adventure. I convinced my father to let me travel outside of the plains. So, here I am. Not the most exciting tale…yet. Give me another good ten years and I’ll have a more captivating story for you. I promise.
