Welcome to Arkguil, a prime providence of excellence, success, and advancement. Our heath care is better than yours. Our automotive traffic is more energy efficient than yours. Our economy is more impervious from outer forces than yours. But that does not, effectively, say our lives are better than yours.
The Province is one of the unique places on Earth. It is a peninsula hard to locate on the Globe, and rarely does it get tied into international wars and affairs. But, there is one thing that strikes it as unnatural as everywhere else.
Sometimes the restless don't die.
Welcome to Arkguil. Our death rate is higher than most places in the United States. Our mercenaries outnumber those in Venezuela. Our culture is more conflicted than Europe. And our killing business is the biggest on Earth.
Guilds reign supreme, splitting the land into factions and powers. Death is the fastest and most popular cure, but not the best guarantee. In Arkguil, people have been said, and have proved, multiple lives exist while existing in Arkguil.
It is a phenomenon that started with one of the most infamous and notorious assassins, Nine Life Jack, and is passed through hundreds of both killers and saviors. There is no evidence of how it came to be, no plausible reason to be decided on. Whoever has stepped foot on Arkguil has entered into a system of life and death that is present nowhere else. Whoever has stepped off exits it.
Welcome to Arkguil. The politicians will welcome you with open arms. The mercenaries will shun you with loaded guns. The thieves will take from you everything. The vigilantes will offer nothing but justice.
