Well, intro: name's Aurelian Nikolai Hunters. Long, I know, so just call me Nick or Hunters, either works. But I like my name, I mean who wouldn't like a name that means gold? No really, it does, according to human meanings, so I like it a lot. I'm your average everyday air spirit, not that you have any other air spirit to compare me to. Anyway, I've been around since forever, at least I'd like to think so since I don't know when I was born or created or you get the idea, but does anyone know really? And it's not as if the other spirits are aware of my existence, or even care but that's not really my problem. Actually, I'm pretty sure that only a few people, if any at all, know of my existence. Sure, the beings know that the air spirit exists, but they don't know that I'm the air spirit, so everything's fine on my side. But I do have to make sure that no one knows of my being the air spirit, which is pretty difficult since for some reason I'm stuck with the same look for the past who knows how long. But I can solve that by staying in either Reena or Ashling every decade or so then move to the other town and repeat the cycle. Sometimes I stay longer, but that's a story for later.

So my story's got to start at the beginning, and well, since I said that I can't remember when the beginning was, I'll just start with my first memories, if you don't mind. And if you do, well tough luck, I'm still starting from there. Well, my first memory is from many decades (at the very least) back when I came out of the forest. I'm pretty sure I was training on how to use my powers in the forest sicne when I came out, I'm fairly adept at using my powers. How do I know? I was captured by a group of people who wanted power. And well, they knew that I was the air spirit, how, I don't know. They tried to capture me and I barely escaped with my life. Of course they weren't able to. I don't think I need to tell you what happened, but it was a very bloody fight with more blood loss on my side because it doesn't really matter if they loose blood when they're dead. All of them.

Anyway, after that I fled to Ashling for a while. It was just a budding town then, the humans were so weak and so entertaining, not to mentions very helpful, tending to my wounds when they saw me, that I stayed there and helped them build their town. It was up and running after a few years, there's nothing special to say about that. I was the guy who they ordered around when my wounds healed up. I got wood for them, hunted animals, cooked their food, used my air powers to make sure that the sun wasn't too bright and teh rain wasn't too strong. Of course they didn't know that I did the last part, they thought it was good luck. Anyway, I faked my death when the construction was done. I let them think a wild animal killed me (as if it could) so they couldn't find out that I didn't age nor did I live forever. But not after I fortified their houses with my wind, not letting the weather damage them. My wind was still there the next time I visited them and their houses were still intact.

I went back to Reena after staying in Ashling, being a random wanderer. I also learned the value of money, or at least gold and silver at that time. I learned how to trade and have my own money so I could live and stuff. I spent a few years in Reena, doing odd jobs here and there before I returned to Ashling. I did odd jobs there too, to earn money. It's not as if money is the most important thing to me, but I realized that I needed it to survive in both towns in order to get my needs. And besides, it's fun doing odd jobs here and there in the two towns, or that's just me.

So I spent a few more decades doing just that, hiding my identity, doing odd jobs, dying a few times. It's pretty fun, especially thinking up of how to die or what new job should I take. I'm pretty rich in both towns, though after working for who knows how long that shouldn't be a surprise, and I even have accounts in both town banks. Of course I'd have to fake that it was a family account and I was the rightful heir and all that procedure, but with the experience in conning people, I doubt that it will ever be a problem.

Now, I'm working in Reena as a fortune teller, making up fortunes for people then making them happen with my powers. I've been at it for a year now, am planning to got at it for about four more before I return to Ashling and probably do the same thing. Just for fun.
